This extra content is meant to be viewed AFTER you’ve watched the film
A large part of writing Black & White was figuring out where the main characters were at in their lives and how they got there. Before I even started working on the script I made copious amounts of notes and drew out a timeline comprised of every major event starting from the day Tim Drake retires as Robin and ending where the film does.
The movie was never meant to encompass all of this. It was always going to start exactly where it does. But it helped me tremendously to know the specifics of Batman & Robin’s fallout, what exactly happened between Bruce & Selina, how (and why) Tim & Selina teamed up, etc.
I thought it might be interesting to reveal a little bit of that back story for you. Specifically, a section of it that takes place in the days leading up to the start of the film. I used my notes to create a script which you can download below if you’re interested. Hopefully it will give you more insight into the relationships between the three leads and maybe even enrich the film a little bit upon your next viewing.
